Michael D. Chiumento obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in 1967 and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University in 1971.
Personal History
Mike Chiumento is the Founding Shareholder and Senior Partner of the firm. He founded the firm in 1974 and it is one of the oldest firms existing in Flagler and Volusia Counties. Mike moved to Flagler County in 1973 and has been very involved in the community ever since. He has served on the board of directors and as president of the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, is a past member of the board of directors for Barnett Bank, founding director of Cypress Bank, Cypress Coquina Bank. and intracoastal Bank. He is past President of the Flagler County Bar Association, Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, and the original Palm Coast YMCA. Mike also served as the attorney for the city of Flagler Beach, legal advisor to the city of Beverly Beach, attorney for the East Flagler County Mosquito Control District and attorney for the Flagler County School Board.
Mike concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning & Elder Law, Guardianship, Probate & Trust Administration, complex real estate transactions and commercial loan closings, residential real estate, and Business Law.

Mr. Chiumento has served as the City Attorney for the City of Flagler Beach, Legal Advisor to the City of Beverly Beach, Board Attorney for the East Flagler and Volusia Counties Mosquito Control District and Board Attorney for the Flagler and Volusia Counties School Board.
Mr. Chiumento is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, Flagler and Volusia Counties Bar Association, Florida School Board Attorneys Association, Florida School Boards Association, National School Boards Association and the National School Boards Association Council of School Board Attorneys.
