    With over 7 years of experience in personal injury law, Amanda A. Swift is a seasoned and highly skilled paralegal specializing in helping clients navigate the complex legal processes involved in personal injury claims. As the Head of the Personal Injury Department at Chiumento Law,  Amanda A. Swift plays a pivotal role in managing case files, coordinating with clients, overseeing administrative tasks, and supporting attorneys to secure favorable outcomes for clients suffering from accidents, injuries, and other personal harm.

    Amanda A. Swift is dedicated to providing compassionate support while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of personal injury laws and regulations. Known for her excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and commitment to client care, Amanda A. Swift ensures that every case progresses smoothly, from initial consultation to settlement or trial.

    Throughout her career,  Amanda A. Swift has developed expertise in case management, document preparation, discovery processes, client interviews, and trial preparation. She has a proven track record of assisting in securing substantial settlements for clients and contributing to the success of the Personal Injury Department through effective team leadership and strategy.

    In addition to being a Florida Bar Registered Paralegal, Amanda A. Swift continuously enhances her legal knowledge and stays updated on evolving personal injury laws, making her a trusted and valuable member of the team.

  • Betty Abreu – Legal Assistant - Estate Planning

    Betty Abreu

    Betty recently rejoined the firm in November 2022 after previously working with us from 2013-2015. She is the current Legal Assistant to Diane Vidal and Michael Chiumento in the estate planning department.
    She is married and has two kids and a dog named Missy. She is originally from New Jersey and moved to Palm Coast in 2013. Betty is trilingual and can speak, read and write in Portuguese and Spanish. She is the current President of the PTO for Wadsworth Elementary. She loves kids and volunteers with the school during her free time.

  • Caroline McNeil – Florida Registered Paralegal

    Caroline McNeil

    Caroline has been an integral part of the firm since May 2012, serving as a dedicated paralegal to Michael D. Chiumento III and Vincent L. Sullivan. She plays a key role in facilitating residential and commercial real estate transactions, as well as navigating complex land use and development matters.

    Her academic achievements include an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Supervision and Management, both earned from Daytona State College. Demonstrating her commitment to excellence, Caroline became a Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar in 2024.

    Originally from Massachusetts, Caroline made Palm Coast her home in 2005. She enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband and two children. Beyond her professional endeavors, Caroline is deeply passionate about giving back to her community. She is a steadfast supporter of the ALS Association – Florida Chapter and serves on the Board of Directors for Christmas with Community Heroes. For over a decade, she has been instrumental in helping local families experience the magic of the holiday season, ensuring that no child goes without during Christmas.

  • Cheryl Fair – Legal Administrator

    Cheryl Fair

    Cheryl became an invaluable part of the firm in 2024, bringing with her over two decades of expertise as the Operations Manager of a prominent software company in Palm Coast. With a keen eye for detail and a talent for streamlining complex processes, Cheryl oversees all facets of the firm’s business and administrative operations. From finance and payroll to time and billing, human resources, and facilities management, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the firm runs seamlessly.
    A proud graduate of Boston University, Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French in 1988. Her strong academic background and diverse professional experience contribute to her well-rounded leadership style and strategic approach.

    Cheryl and her husband, Christian, have called Volusia County home since 2002, after relocating from Northern Virginia. Together, they cherish time spent with their two children, their spouses, and their five beloved grandchildren. Family is at the heart of Cheryl’s life, and she finds joy in creating memories with them whenever possible.

    In her downtime, Cheryl’s adventurous spirit leads her to explore new places, whether traveling, camping, or enjoying time on the water. She and Christian share a passion for NASCAR, often combining their love of camping with race weekends at various tracks. With a goal to experience even more iconic raceways across the country, their list of adventures continues to grow.
    Cheryl’s dedication, warmth, and unwavering commitment to both her professional and personal life make her an integral part of the firm’s success and culture.

  • Karolyn Sheekey – Assistant Office Manager

    Karolyn Sheekey

    Karolyn is the Assistant Office Manager and has been an integral part of the firm for over 34 years. She began her journey as a legal assistant in October 1990. Karolyn is married to Brian, and together they have a beloved puppy, Maggie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, watching sports, and spending quality time playing with her grandchild.

  • Kelly DeVore – Florida Certified and Registered Paralegal

    Kelly DeVore

    Kelly DeVore has been with the firm since 1995 and started in our residential real estate department. She came to us from Palm Coast Abstract & Title. Kelly has her A.S. in Paralegal Studies and is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants. In 2009 she became a Licensed Title Agent through the State of Florida in order to manage and run the firm’s first title company, Pioneer Title Services, LLC.   Kelly has over 26 years’ of experience in residential and commercial real estate and has also worked in various other areas of law over the years.    She currently is the firm’s real estate paralegal on both commercial and residential transactions as well as a closing agent/licensed title agent for Pioneer Title Services, LLC, the firm’s title company.

  • Lacy Martin – Marketing Director

    Lacy Martin

    Lacy Martin, our Marketing Director, joined the firm in 2023, bringing with her extensive experience in Marketing and Communications. Recognized for her professional excellence and leadership, Lacy was honored as the 2024 Professional Woman of the Year and has received numerous accolades, including being named to the prestigious 40 Under 40 list in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as the Women in Business awards in 2023 and 2024.

    Lacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Mass Communications and Public Relations with a focus on Social Media from the University of Florida.

    Deeply committed to her community, Lacy is actively involved in several organizations, including her own 501(c)(3), the 9/11 Memorial Tribute Climb, and initiatives such as Christmas with Community Heroes, AdventHealth Pink on Parade, the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber, the Flagler Veterans Day Parade and the Flagler County Education Foundation.

    Born and raised in Volusia County, Lacy now resides in Palm Coast with her husband and two children. Her passion for connecting with people and driving meaningful community impact is reflected in her work both professionally and personally.

Certified by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), a prestigious and nationally recognized organization, Michele consistently upholds the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service. Her dedication to the legal field is further exemplified by her status as a Registered Paralegal through the Florida Bar.

    Michele holds an A.S. Degree in Paralegal Studies from Daytona State College, reflecting her strong academic foundation and passion for the legal profession. Since joining our firm in 2002, Michele has been an invaluable cornerstone of our team, bringing unmatched knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and a client-focused approach to every case.

    A proud Florida native, Michele was raised in Volusia County before relocating to Flagler County in 1998 with her husband Kevin. Together, they built a loving home and raised their two daughters, deeply embedding themselves in the local community.

    Beyond her professional responsibilities, Michele is dedicated to giving back. She actively volunteers as a mentor in the Take Stock in Children program, guiding and inspiring the next generation of professionals by sharing her wealth of experience and insights.

  • Tiara Slydell – Legal Assistant - Civil Litigation and Family Law

    Tiara Slydell

    Tiarra Slydell brings dedication and compassion to her practice, focusing on Civil Litigation and Family Law matters. She holds an Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies from Daytona State College, providing her with a strong foundation for navigating complex legal challenges.
    Originally from vibrant Palm Beach County, Florida, Tiarra relocated to Flagler County in 2019, where she has become an active part of the community. Outside of her professional life, Tiarra enjoys spending quality time with her family, indulging in hobbies such as reading, baking, and creating cherished moments with her children and two beloved dogs, Nova and Diamond.
    Tiarra’s commitment to her clients is matched only by her dedication to achieving positive results with care and integrity.

  • Tiffany Grimes – Legal Assistant

    Tiffany Grimes

    Tiffany joined the firm in 2022 as the Front Desk Coordinator and has since advanced to the role of Legal Assistant for Michael Chiumento and Vincent Sullivan in the Real Estate Department.

    Outside of her work at the firm, Tiffany dedicates her time to running the Florida Chapter of The TEARS Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial and emotional support to families coping with the loss of a child.

    Tiffany is also the owner and lead coordinator of Effortless Events, where she specializes in creating stress-free event experiences, handling everything from planning to execution. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys fishing, camping, and creating lasting memories with her children and friends.
